The National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) have both granted the accreditation to this course. Students must have passed the class 12 or an equivalent examination of the State of Kerala or any other equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as optional subjects, securing a minimum of 50% marks in Mathematics and 50% marks in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry taken together, in order to be eligible for admission to the B.Tech CSE course at the University of Kerala. The Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical Entrance Examination (KEAM) entrance exam scores is used to admit students to the programme.
